Summit Leadership

The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR)  launched the Pacific Energy Summit in 2009 with the vision to find innovative solutions to energy and environmental challenges in the Asia-Pacific. NBR serves as the Secretariat of the Pacific Energy Summit, leading the preparation for each year’s exciting programming through close collaboration with sponsors, advisors, and leading research institutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Sponsors

The Summit is a consultative effort, bringing together a wide array of stakeholders to develop an interactive and diverse program. Sponsors are integral to the success of the Pacific Energy Summit and are involved throughout the development of the program. Our commitment to our sponsors can be seen by their continued involvement year after year. Chevron, the Asian Development Bank, and ExxonMobil sponsored the inaugural Pacific Energy Summit in 2009, and they have remained partners to this day.

The 2016 Pacific Energy Summit sponsors and collaborators include Chevron, the Asian Development Bank, ExxonMobil, Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore, the Center for Energy Governance and Security at Hanyang University, Energy Studies Institute at the National University of Singapore, US-ASEAN Business Council, and the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau. For more information please visit the 2016 Sponsors page.

Advisors

The Pacific Energy Summit advisors guide each Summit from conception to conclusion. Lending their voices in the development of the programming and participating in the Summit itself, these leaders in their respective fields drive the success of the event year after year.
